ELI5: The Social Contract

The agreement people make to come together to form societies. The agreement between individuals that might does not make right but the will of collective sovereign individuals with the right framework does. In other words A theory of what makes a legitimate government. The social contract is also a system of storing resources in the forms of favors done for other people.
